Arkansas Code Annotated definition

Arkansas Code Annotated and “ARK. CODE XXX.” shall mean and refer to the official compilation of the statutes, codes and session laws of the State of Arkansas of a public and general nature, as now existing and as amended hereafter, or any successor law. Likewise, any references to specific sections of the Arkansas Code Annotated shall include any subsequent amendments thereto or substitutions therefor.

  • It shall be a breach of ethical standards for a person to be retained, or to retain a person, to solicit or secure a State contract upon an agreement of understanding for a commission, percentage, brokerage, or contingent fee, except for retention of bona fide employees or bona fide established commercial selling agencies maintained by the contractor for the purpose of securing business.” (Arkansas Code, Annotated, Section 19-11-708).

  • When procuring a technology product or when soliciting the development of such a product, the State of Arkansas is required to comply with the provisions of Arkansas Code Annotated § 25-26-201 et seq., as amended by Act 308 of 2013, which expresses the policy of the State to provide individuals who are blind or visually impaired with access to information technology purchased in whole or in part with state funds.

  • As provided in Arkansas Code Annotated § 25-26-201 et seq., as amended by Act 308 of 2013, if equivalent access is not reasonably available, then individuals who are blind or visually impaired shall be provided a reasonable accommodation as defined in 42 U.S.C. § 12111(9), as it existed on January 1, 2013.

  • Pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated 19-11-105, all bidders must certify prior to award of a contract that they do not employ or contract with any illegal immigrant(s) in its contract with the state.

  • the 1986 Act means the Insolvency Act 1986;

  • POPI Act means the Protection of Personal Information Act, Act 4 of 2013;

  • 15(519) means the weekly statistical release designated as such, or any successor publication, published by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. The date of determination of a Make-Whole Premium will be the third Business Day prior to the applicable prepayment date and the "most recent H.15(519)" means the H.15(519) published prior to the close of business on the third Business Day prior to the applicable prepayment date.

  • Code means the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended.

  • State Grid Code means the Grid Code specified by the CERC under Clause (h) of Sub-section (1) of Section 79 of the Electricity Act, as amended from time to time, and/or the State Grid Code as specified by the concerned State Commission, referred under Clause (h) of Sub- section (1) of Section 86 of the Electricity Xxx 0000, as applicable;

  • Subchapter S Corporation (as defined in the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended), Borrower may pay cash dividends on its stock to its shareholders from time to time in amounts necessary to enable the shareholders to pay income taxes and make estimated income tax payments to satisfy their liabilities under federal and state law which arise solely from their status as Shareholders of a Subchapter S Corporation because of their ownership of shares of stock of Borrower, or (d) purchase or retire any of Borrower's outstanding shares or alter or amend Borrower's capital structure.

  • IBC Code means the 1998 Edition of the International Code for the Construction and Equipment of Ships Carrying Dangerous Chemicals in Bulk published by the International Maritime Organization;
