Examples of ARFF in a sentence

  • When a transfer of a member to an Engine, Ladder or ARFF Company position is to be accomplished and when such is consistent with the effective and efficient operation of the Fire Department, the transfer to the position to be filled will be made from those personnel who requested it in writing.

  • At a minimum any ARFF apparatus assigned to an aircraft base for ARFF responsibilities must have three fully trained and qualified personnel available and remain on site at all times or as directed by the base manager that meet the following.

  • Captains assigned to the airport, who are not on the established ARFF Promotional Register and provide ARFF Captain coverage, shall receive a two (2%) percent wage supplement.

  • An employee who meets the criteria for inclusion on the ARFF Team who is not assigned to an ARFF designated station shall be eligible to receive a bi-weekly differential equivalent to 1.5% of the top step Firefighter Paramedic level per pay period.

  • Fire Instructor I must be completed within one (1) year of promotion to ARFF Captain).

  • Any member on a Promotional Register(s) for ARFF Captain, Special Operations Captain or EMS Captain will be required to complete all specialty training necessary to perform the duties of that position.

  • Overtime for Rescue Units, Air Units, Haz Mat, Marine Fire Units, Technical Rescue Trucks (TRT), Training, ARFF Personnel, and all driver/operator positions (including specialty units, i.e. pumper, aerial, ladder, tanker, platform) will be filled by those with Department certification when available.
