Arc Flash means a phenomenon where a flash- over of electric current leaves its intended path and travels through the air from one conductor to another, or to ground. The results are often violent and, when a human is in close proximity to the arc flash, serious injury or even death can occur.

• Reports which will be required to be obtained by Provider at Provider’s sole cost include:  Structural Report  Title Reports/ALTA Surveys  Underground Utility Survey  Arc Flash Study/Coordination Study Provider may obtain the following reports, at Provider’s sole discretion and cost:  Soils/Geotechnical Report  Environmental Study  Topographic Surveys  Glint and Glare Study These reports must be obtained when requested by District or any other Governmental Authority having jurisdiction.

• Generate, per ANSI and NFPA guidelines, and install appropriate Arc Flash hazard warning labels as a result of the Arc Flash study at or on each required electrical equipment item.

• It shall be assumed that all over-current protective devices and other electrical devices are available in the Arc Flash analysis software program library and primarily are manufactured by electrical companies located in the United States.
