AR Interest definition

AR Interest means (i) any beneficial ownership of a legal person through which the relevant activities of those entities are conducted; and/or (ii) being in a position that may enable the exercise of a material, financial, commercial, administrative, managerial or any other influence over the affairs of a natural or legal person whether directly or indirectly and whether formally or informally.

Examples of AR Interest in a sentence

  • The Class A-R Interest is hereby designated as the residual interest in the Master REMIC and each other Master REMIC Interest is hereby designated as a regular interest in the Master REMIC.

  • The Depositor hereby designates the Classes of Class A Certificates (other than the Residual Certificate) and the Classes of Class B Certificates as classes of "regular interests" and the Class A-R Interest as the single class of "residual interest" in the Upper-Tier REMIC for the purposes of Code Sections 860G(a)(1) and 860G(a)(2), respectively.
