Aquifer Test Well definition
Aquifer Test Well means a well into which uncontaminated fluid is injected in order to facilitate
Aquifer Test Well means a well into which uncontaminated fluid is injected in order to facilitate the assessment of local aquifer characteristics such as permeability, hydraulic conductivity, storage coefficient, or transmissivity. This includes slug tests which assess aquifer characteristics by the addition of a known volume of water to cause an instantaneous change in the water level of the well.
Aquifer Test Well means a monitoring well installed to provide information on the hydraulic conductivity, transmissivity, storage coefficient, capture zone, specific capacity, radius of influence or other physical parameters of an aquifer, defined geologic unit, or water bearing formation.
