APU Performance Restoration definition

APU Performance Restoration means a shop visit which restores performance and durability of the APU so as to return the APU to service for a complete APU run interval and shall include a Heavy Repair (as defined in the Honeywell Shop Maintenance Philosophy) or APU overhaul as required by the APU manufacturer’s component maintenance manual.
APU Performance Restoration means, with respect to the APU, disassembly and rework of the power section, load impeller and gearbox modules according to the Manufacturer’s then current performance restoration and full gas path overhaul criteria.
APU Performance Restoration means off-wing APU shop visits that include disassembly, inspection, component repair and balancing, testing and reassembly of the relevant APU, accomplished in accordance with the Manufacturer’s component maintenance manual. The workscope will be such that the APU is expected to achieve Manufacturer’s mean time between removals from the APU’s release from such shop visit and to its next shop visit, and also includes all open ADs issued by the Aviation Authority that are required to be incorporated before the next the overhaul period.

More Definitions of APU Performance Restoration

APU Performance Restoration means, with respect to the APU, a shop visit of the APU which includes as a minimum the disassembly, inspection and repair of the power section and load compressor of the APU in accordance with either the Maintenance Program or the APU Manufacturer's published manuals; "APU Start" means, with respect to the APU, one complete operational cycle of the APU from start up to shut down and, with respect to any other auxiliary power unit, one complete operational cycle of such auxiliary power unit from start up to shut down;
APU Performance Restoration means an off-wing APU shop visits including disassembly, inspection, component repair and balancing, testing and re-assembly of the relevant APU, accomplished in accordance with the APU manufacturer's component maintenance manual, with a scheduled Life Limited Part and Airworthiness Directive release of no less than 6,000 Cycles and 3 years and on-condition release of no less than 9,000 Flight Hours and 6,000 Cycles and 3 years.
APU Performance Restoration. With respect to the APU, the performance, in accordance with this Agreement, of all APU Performance Restoration shop visits, an amount equal to the aggregate amount of the APU Supplemental Rent actually paid by Lessee at the date such work starts less the aggregate amount previously paid by Lessor under this sub-clause; and

  • Extreme performance coating means coatings designed for harsh exposure or extreme environmental conditions.

  • Performance audit means an objective and systematic assessment of a state agency or agencies or any of their programs, functions, or activities by the state auditor or designee in order to help improve agency efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability. Performance Measures may vary from Performance Period to Performance Period and from Participant to Participant, and may be established on a stand-alone basis, in tandem or in the alternative.

  • Performance Standard means the acceptable range of performance for a Performance Indicator or a Service Volume that results when a Performance Corridor is applied to a Performance Target.
