APS Code of Conduct definition

APS Code of Conduct and “Code of Conduct” means the set of rules as defined in section 13 of the Public Service Act 1999.

Examples of APS Code of Conduct in a sentence

  • Employees will not be disadvantaged or discriminated against because they have given advice in accordance with their expertise or professional qualifications and in accordance with the APS Code of Conduct in the PS Act.

  • Unless the employee agrees to the reduction, this can only be done in accordance with processes established to determine whether the circumstances listed in s.23(4) of the PS Act 1999 apply, i.e. physical or mental incapacity, breach of the APS Code of Conduct, redundancy, unsatisfactory performance of duties or loss of an essential qualification.

  • Where APS employees are elected as officials of a trade union or professional association, they are not required to seek permission from the workplace or the Commission before speaking publicly in that capacity, subject to the APS Code of Conduct and legislative requirements.

  • Nothing in this Agreement prevents the Integrity Commissioner from terminating an employee’s employment without notice or payment in lieu of notice for serious misconduct in accordance with paragraph 123(1)(b) of the FW Act, subject to the Integrity Commissioner’s procedures for determining whether the employee has breached the APS Code of Conduct under subsection 15(3) of the PS Act.

  • The use of such facilities in this capacity must be in accordance with applicable Authority guidelines and the APS Code of Conduct.

  • I agree to act in accordance with the Australian Public Service (APS) Code of Conduct, as set out in section 13 of the Public Service Act 1999 (available at ▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇.▇▇/▇▇▇▇▇▇▇/▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇) at all times during my internship at NHMRC.

  • Where APS employees are elected as officials of a trade union or professional association, they are not required to seek permission from the workplace or the Department before speaking publicly in that capacity, subject to the APS Code of Conduct and legislative requirements.

  • An employee who is suspected to have breached the APS Code of Conduct will be dealt with in accordance with GBRMPA’s Procedures for Managing Breaches of the Code of Conduct.

  • Nothing in this Agreement prevents the Inspector-General from terminating the employment of an employee for serious misconduct, without further notice or payment in lieu, in accordance with the Fair Work Act, subject to compliance with the procedures established by the Inspector-General for determining whether an employee has breached the APS Code of Conduct under section 15 of the Public Service Act.

  • The Chief Executive Officer and employees of AHL will uphold and promote the Australian Public Service (APS) Values and APS Code of Conduct as prescribed in sections 10 and 13 of the Public Service Act 1999.
