APS agency definition

APS agency means an agency whose employees are employed under the PS Act, including an agency as defined in section 7 of the PS Act whose employees are employed under that Act.
APS agency means an agency within the meaning of the Public Service Act.

  • Where an employee moves into the Commission from another APS agency where they were an ongoing employee, the employee’s unused accrued annual leave and personal/carer’s leave will be transferred, provided there is no break in continuity of service.

  • Ongoing employees moving from another APS agency with existing PCS (or personal/carer’s leave however described) leave credits may be entitled to an amount up to 18 days dependent on the basis of leave credit or accrual in the previous agency.
