Approved Alternative definition

Approved Alternative means a Development and Mining alternative selected by the Management Committee from various Development and Mining alternatives analyzed in the Pre-Feasibility Studies.

Approved Alternative means any method, element, material, process or use in the construction, design, operation, inspection, testing, maintenance, alteration, or repair of conveyances subject to the jurisdiction of the Ccommissioner and not otherwise exempted by statute, for which written approval is issued by the Ccommissioner or, upon designation, by the state elevator inspector, subject to a showing of good cause and a showing that the safety of the users of the conveyance will not be compromised by the approved alternative.
