Appropriate Source definition

Appropriate Source means any 'competent authority' and/or the 'Central Administrator' (as those terms are defined in the Registries Regulation), National Administrator or any other authority having power pursuant to the Directive and/or the Registries Regulation to block, suspend, refuse, reject, cancel or otherwise affect the Transfer (whether in whole or in part) of Allowances, any recognized law enforcement or tax authorities of a Member State, European Anti-fraud Office of the European Commission or Europol;

  • Discrete source means a radionuclide that has been processed so that its concentration within a material has been purposely increased for use for commercial, medical, or research activities.

  • Reference Bank As defined in Section 4.04.

  • Index Provider means, in respect of a Sub-Fund, the person responsible for compiling the Index against which the relevant Sub-Fund benchmarks its investments and who holds the right to licence the use of such Index to the relevant Sub-Fund as set out in the relevant Appendix.

  • Single Source means an individual, partnership, corporation, association, labor organization, or any other organization or group of persons which is not a political committee or political party.

  • Minor source means any source which is not defined as a major source in Chapter 2.
