Appraise definition

Appraise or “Appraisal” means work (being part of Exploration) carried out following a Discovery for the purpose of delineating a Petroleum Field and determining whether or not such Petroleum Field merits Development.
Appraise means to determine the market value of real property either by entry thereon and inspection thereof or by use of an adjustment multiplier;
Appraise means, in relation to petroleum, to ascertain the extent or characteristics thereof or to ascertain what are the reserves thereof; and “appraisal” shall be construed accordingly;
