  • Appointment means the appointment of any Seller to act in a Corporate Trust Capacity under any of the Corporate Trust Contracts of the Business.

  • Procedure means one or more surgical procedures or medical therapy performed in a Center of Excellence.

  • Notice of Arbitration means the formal notice from the CONTRACTOR or the CUSTOMER to the other party referring a dispute to arbitration in accordance with the provisions of Schedule 2-9.

  • Alternative dispute resolution means mediation, arbitration, conciliation, or other nonjudicial procedure that involves a neutral party in the decisionmaking process. The form of alternative dispute resolution chosen pursuant to this article may be binding or nonbinding, with the voluntary consent of the parties.

  • Variation Procedure means the procedure for carrying out a Variation as set out in Clause 16.1 (Variation Procedure);

  • Conciliator means an individual appointed as such in terms of section 82;

  • Final administrative decision means a decision by an agency

  • Dispute Resolution means the procedure set forth in this LGIP for resolution of a dispute between the Parties.

  • Final Decision means a final action of the commission determining the legal rights, duties, or privileges of any person. “Final decision” does not include preliminary, procedural, or intermediate actions by the commission, actions regulating the internal administration of the commission, or actions of the commission to enter into or refrain from entering into contracts or agreements with vendors to provide goods or services to the commission.

  • Reconciliation Procedures has the meaning set forth in Section 2.3(a) of this Agreement.

  • Expedited Appeal means if a Member appeals a decision regarding a denied request for Prior Authorization (Pre-Service Claim) for an Urgent Care Claim, the Member or Member’s Authorized Representative can request an Expedited Appeal, either orally or in writing. Decisions regarding an Expedited Appeal are generally made within seventy-two (72) hours from the Plan’s receipt of the request.

  • Conciliation means the attempted resolution of issues raised by a complaint, or by the investigation of such complaint, through informal negotiations involving the aggrieved person, the respondent, and the Secretary.

  • Appointed Representative has the meaning set forth in Section 10.1.

  • Security procedure means a procedure employed for the purpose of verifying that an electronic signature, record, or performance is that of a specific person or for detecting changes or errors in the information in an electronic record. The term includes a procedure that requires the use of algorithms or other codes, identifying words or numbers, encryption, or callback or other acknowledgment procedures.

  • Notice of Appeal means a notice given pursuant to Condition 6.2.
