Appointing. The person(s)/legal entity described in Part 1 of the Schedule to this Power of Attorney (each referred to as the ‘Attorney’). Operative provisions
Appointing means a procedure administered by the responsible ministry, for the purpose of assigning responsibility to a laboratory, certification body, control authority or any other subject to perform activities of conformity assessment for suppliers;
Appointing the Employer initiates a move to another position in the same classification or different.

  • Appointing authority means the head of an employing unit authorized by ordinance or City Charter to employ others on behalf of the City, or a designated management representative. The term includes and can be used interchangeably with department head, department director, superintendent, and chief.

  • Corporate Representative means an Individual authorised by resolution of the directors or other governing body of a body corporate to represent it;

  • Receiver means a receiver or receiver and manager or administrative receiver of the whole or any part of the Charged Property.

  • Instrument has the meaning specified in Section 9-102(a)(47) of the UCC.

  • Assistant means a person who, under the terms of appointment of an arbitrator, conducts research or provides assistance to that arbitrator;

  • intervener ’ shall mean a person who files a petition to be made an in- tervener pursuant to paragraph (g) of this section and whose petition is ap- proved.

  • Conservator means a person who is appointed by a court to manage the estate of a protected person.
