Independent Accountant has the meaning set forth in Section 2.04(c)(iii).
Appointed actuary means any individual who is appointed or retained in accordance with the requirements set forth in 5.34(5)“c” to provide the actuarial opinion and supporting memorandum as required by Iowa Code section 508.36.
Independent Expert means a Person or entity with no material current or prior business or personal relationship with the Advisor or the Directors and who is engaged to a substantial extent in the business of rendering opinions regarding the value of assets of the type held by the Company.
Appointed Representative has the meaning set forth in Section 10.1.
Non-Key Expert(s means an individual professional provided by the Consultant or its Sub-consultant to perform the Services or any part thereof under the Contract.
Independent Auditors has the meaning set forth in Section 3.2.
Key Expert(s means an individual professional whose skills, qualifications, knowledge and experience are critical to the performance of the Services under the Contract and whose Curricula Vitae (CV) was taken into account in the technical evaluation of the Consultant’s proposal.
Neutral Auditor means Ernst & Young or, if Ernst & Young is unable to serve, an impartial nationally recognized firm of independent certified public accountants other than Seller’s accountants or Purchaser’s accountants, mutually agreed to by Purchaser and Seller.
Neutral Accountant means a national independent accounting firm selected by Buyer and reasonably acceptable to Sellers.
Independent Auditor has the meaning specified in subsection 7.01(a).
Engineer’s Representative means the official in the civil/ electrical engineering department who is authorized to be in-charge of the work to which these presents relate. It shall include any other official nominated to attend to the supervision of day to day execution of the work to which this CONTRACT relates.
Chartered Accountant means a person practicing in India or a firm whereof all the partners practicing in India as a Chartered Accountant(s) within the meaning of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949;
Appointee means the person named by you and registered with us in accordance with the Nomination Schedule, who is authorized to receive the Death Benefit under this Policy on the death of the Life Assured while the Nominee is a minor;
Appointed means the act of naming or designating someone to a position or office.
Appointed Date means the date of signing of this Agreement.
Appraiser panel means a network, list or roster of licensed or certified ap- praisers approved by an AMC to per- form appraisals as independent con- tractors for the AMC. Appraisers on an AMC’s ‘‘appraiser panel’’ under this part include both appraisers accepted by the AMC for consideration for fu- ture appraisal assignments in covered transactions or for secondary mortgage market participants in connection with covered transactions and appraisers en- gaged by the AMC to perform one or more appraisals in covered trans- actions or for secondary mortgage mar- ket participants in connection with covered transactions. An appraiser is an independent contractor for purposes of this subpart if the appraiser is treat- ed as an independent contractor by the AMC for purposes of Federal income taxation.
Auditor means the person for the time being performing the duties of auditor of the Company (if any).
Qualified expert means an individual having the knowledge and training to measure ionizing radiation, to evaluate safety techniques, and to advise regarding radiation protection needs, for example, individuals certified in the appropriate field by the American Board of Radiology or the American Board of Health Physics, or those having equivalent qualifications. With reference to the calibration of radiation therapy equipment, an individual having, in addition to the above qualifications, training and experience in the clinical applications of radiation physics to radiation therapy, for example, individuals certified in Therapeutic Radiological Physics or X-Ray and Radium Physics by the American Board of Radiology, or those having equivalent qualifications.
Arbiter has the meaning set forth in Section 2.3(c).
Expert is defined in Section 7.9 of this Agreement.
Accountant means the independent certified public accountant or independent certified public accounting firm retained by the Issuer to perform the duties of the Accountant under this Master Indenture.
Independent Engineer means XxXxxxxx and XxxXxxxxxxx or any other third party engineering firm acceptable to the Administrative Agent in its sole discretion.
Company Representative means the person or persons appointed and approved in writing from time to time by the Company to act on its behalf for overall co- ordination.
County Auditor means the Greenville County Auditor, or the person holding any successor office of the County.
Appraisers means Aircraft Information Services, Inc., BK Associates, Inc. and Xxxxxx Xxxxx and Xxxxx, Inc. or, so long as the Person entitled or required hereunder to select such Appraiser acts reasonably, any other nationally recognized appraiser reasonably satisfactory to the Subordination Agent and the Controlling Party.
Independent Financial Expert means a nationally recognized accounting, investment banking or consultant firm, which firm does not have a material financial interest or other material economic relationship with either the Company or any of its Affiliates or the Holder or any of its Affiliates that is, in the good faith judgment of the Board, qualified to perform the task for which it has been engaged.
