Applied Science. This Division aims to provide scientific data and facts on wildlife conservation and hunting issues, and to support scientific research on wildlife management and conservation. Core Working Fields: Big Game, Small Game, Migratory Birds, Wildlife Diseases, Wildlife Resource Economics, Crop and Livestock Production Systems and Wildlife, Trophy Evaluation.

Examples of Applied Science in a sentence

  • All courses offered for dual credit will be identified as college-level academic courses in the current edition of the Lower Division Academic Course Guide Manual or as a college level technical course in an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or certificate program.

  • Legislation (SB 1091) states dual credit courses must apply to the core curriculum, career and technical education courses toward a Dallas College career and technology Certificate or Associate of Applied Science degree, foreign language, or a course that satisfies specific degree plan requirements leading to the completion of a Dallas College Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate of Applied Science Field of Study or Program of Study.

  • This person must be a graduate from an approved university course which includes: an Associate Diploma and Diploma of Applied Science (Diversional Therapy); Bachelor of Applied Sciences (Leisure and Health); Bachelor of Applied Science (Diversional Therapy); Diploma or Bachelor of Health Sciences (Leisure and Health); an Associate Diploma course in Diversional Therapy; or who has such other qualifications deemed to be equivalent (such as a Four-year degree, Masters Degree or PhD).

  • The selected degree plans for the P-TECH with the College are stackable awards from the Associate of Applied Science degree(s).

  • The primary emphasis on the P-TECH degree plan is on the program requirements for the Associate of Applied Science.

  • The Associate in Applied Science Early Childhood Education degree program includes general education requirements that represent the fundamental foundation for success, with studies in the areas of English composition, communications, humanities and fine arts, natural sciences and mathematics, and social and behavioral sciences.
