Application for Assistance definition

Application for Assistance means an application for a grant of legal aid or for the provision of any Specified Legal Services that require an application to be made. Approval means the instrument signed by the Secretary which specifies that a provider is approved under the Act to provide a particular type of Legal Aid Services or a particular Specified Legal Service, as may be amended by the Secretary from time to time. A provider may have multiple Approvals.
Application for Assistance means a written request by an applicant to the Director for assistance in responding to and/or recovering from an emergency.
