Application Failover definition

Application Failover means a type of disaster recovery configuration where all servers, or other configurations or formats, used for the purpose of application failover are configured so application failover is accomplished only through the use of after-imaging, and are not formatted or configured so that the affected application can execute directly against the related data files, as further defined in Section 4.6.
