Examples of Applicant Parent in a sentence
Each Applicant Parent shall pass a criminal background check, which, for Applicant Parents that are U.S. residents, shall be provided by a commercially available national screening company acceptable to MHB (e.g., SentryLink), and, for Applicant Parents that are not U.S. residents, shall be the equivalent screening, determined by MHB either alone or in consultation with its partners, affiliates or agents, in the relevant non-U.S. country.
Each Applicant Parent shall be a homosexual male and may apply to the Program individually or jointly with his partner or husband; provided, however, that such Applicant Parent may not apply as an individual if such Applicant Parent is legally married (or obtained equivalent status such as civil union or domestic partnership, or common law marriage), or is cohabiting with his partner in the same primary residence.
Each Applicant Parent who has been accepted into the Program shall also be asked, but shall not be required to, provide a testimonial or declaration to the media about his experience with the Program (it being understood that the provision of such a testimonial or declaration shall not be a condition to acceptance into the Program).
The annual income of each Applicant Parent (as determined below) shall be less than or equal to the income eligibility level determined by MHB (the “Income Eligibility Level”).
Each Applicant Parent shall declare that he is already in process or intends to start his parenting journey before the end of the following calendar year.
MHB, in its sole discretion, shall determine whether an Applicant Parent has failed the criminal background check.
MHB shall determine whether a Stage II Applicant Parent passes the psychological screening test based on the report provided by the psychologist who evaluated the test.
Each Applicant Parent shall be required to certify to the foregoing and shall be required to provide (i) a declaration of such Applicant Parent’s sexual orientation, (ii) the date of birth of such Applicant Parent, (iii) previous last name or maiden name of such Applicant Parent, and (iv) the Social Security number (or the equivalent in a non-U.S. country) of such Applicant Parent.
The annual income of an Applicant Parent shall be: (i) if the Applicant Parent is a U.S. resident, the adjusted gross income of such Applicant Parent for the most recent calendar year, as set forth in such Applicant Parent’s U.S. federal income tax filing for such year, or (ii) if the Applicant Parent is not a U.S. resident, the equivalent amount, determined by MHB either alone or in consultation with its partners, affiliates or agents, in the relevant non-U.S. country.
Applicant Parents that are accepted into the Program based on the foregoing Stage I Evaluation Variables shall be offered the option to submit a Stage II Application that will provide MHB’s Grant Committee (the “Committee”) with additional information (each such Applicant Parent that submits such a Stage II Application, a “Stage II Applicant Parent”).
