Applicant Institution definition

Applicant Institution means any (i) public-sector or non-profit organisation that owns or co-owns the Asset/s and whose main activity is located and registered in Spain or Portugal, or (ii) any public-sector or non-profit foreign organisation that owns or co-owns the Asset/s, whose research activities are carried out through a permanent establishment or permanent representation located in Spain or Portugal. The Applicant Institution will be responsible for submitting the application form.
Applicant Institution is defined in Section 12.3.1(i).
Applicant Institution shall have the meaning given such term in PARAGRAPH 11(h)(1) above.

Examples of Applicant Institution in a sentence

  • The Lead Applicant Institution will be liable for any expenditure incurred in connection with the Research in excess of the Grant.

  • Applicant or Applicant Institution: the organization (e.g. University, company or other identifiable legal entity) making the Application for access in respect of the Approved Research Project and by which an Applicant PI is employed or otherwise contractually attached.

  • The Lead Applicant Institution may be asked to provide additional information on how the due diligence checks were carried out.

  • These individuals must ensure any conflict or potential conflict of interest issues related to the CHRB grant project have been reported to, and resolved by, the applicable review committee at the Applicant Institution or Organization.

  • Notices to the Applicant will be sent to the Applicant PI with a copy to the Applicant Institution.

  • The Lead Applicant Institution is responsible for ensuring that a safe working environment is provided for all individuals associated with the Research.

  • The Lead Applicant Institution assumes full responsibility for staff funded from the Grant and, in consequence, accepts all duties owed to all and responsibilities for these staff, including without limitation, their terms and conditions of employment and their training and supervision, arising from the employer/employee relationship.

  • The Lead Applicant Institution shall provide full evidence of expenditure, which shall include, but not limited to, all itemised purchase receipts, self-receipts where applicable, all invoices, and evidence of all payments to staff and any information requested by the UoB, including evidence that funds have been spent on the costs identified in the Resource Justification within the Application Form.

  • At such time, the Borrower or such Lender, as applicable, shall notify the other parties hereto, including the Administrative Agent, of the identity of such Applicant Institution and such Applicant Institution's proposed Commitment.

  • The Lead Applicant Institution will promptly notify UoB of any incident connected to the Research (which the Lead Applicant Institution at its reasonable discretion considers relevant to UoB’s rights and interests in the Research), and will keep UoB promptly informed of any developments connected to such incident.
