When a youth aged 16 and older has a court approved plan of APPLA (Another Planned Permanency Living Arrangement) and the plan is for the child to stay with the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ family until age 18, the plan may be formalized by a written agreement (Long Term ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Care Agreement (LTFCA).
If the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ family has made a commitment to permanency to a youth with an APPLA plan and all other permanency plans with this family have been explored such as adoption or guardianship, a long-term ▇▇▇▇▇▇ care agreement can solidify the commitment.
APPLA is meant to provide a secure living arrangement and to maintain significant relationships for a young adult beyond their exit from substitute care.
The General Partner and any Affiliate shall have the right to take for its own account, or to recommend to others, any investment opportunity presented to it.
C.6.3.3 In addition to FTMs held at the time a child is removed, FTMs are also required at the following junctures: when families are at-risk of children entering ▇▇▇▇▇▇ care and when the agency is considering a goal of Another Planned Permanent Living Arrangement (see APPLA policy).
These cases shall be considered APPLA placement cases and shall be carried by the permanency unit.
