Ancillary Movements definition

Ancillary Movements has the meaning ascribed to it in Part D of the Network Code;
Ancillary Movements has the meaning ascribed to it in Part D of the CVL Network Code;
Ancillary Movements means train movements on the Facility which are not an express part of the Services but which are necessary or reasonably required for giving full effect to the Services; “Ancillary Services” are those services, which are not Facility Services, which may be provided by ABP to the Train Operator on request, as more particularly described in paragraph 7 of Schedule 2;

  • References in this Schedule to a "Service", except in the definition of "Round Trip", shall include, in relation to any Planned Service, any Empty Services or Ancillary Movements associated with such Planned Service.

  • The Train Operator shall, in respect of any Service (and its associated Ancillary Movements) that it wishes to operate wholly or partly outside of the Core Operational Period, or wholly or partly on routes which form part of the Network over which passenger services do not operate, pay to Network Rail a Non-Core Operational Charge.

  • The Services under this contract comprise: services with the characteristics set out in the Rights Table in columns 1 to 18; any Diverted Services; Ancillary Movements; any Train Operator Variation Services; any Revised Base Service; and any service Planned to use an International Freight Train Slot listed in Section A of the International Freight Capacity Notice applicable for the relevant Timetable Period, and which is shown in the Working Timetable as having been allocated to the Train Operator.

  • For the purposes of paragraph 2.2.1, Ancillary Movements shall include movements: to and from maintenance depots for the purpose of maintaining rolling stock; for driver training purposes; and which do not convey loaded wagons or empty passenger rolling stock; but shall not include movements of rolling stock for the purpose of testing in furtherance of vehicle acceptance procedures.

  • The Train Operator may make Ancillary Movements of Specified Equipment to the extent necessary or reasonably required to give full effect to the Services, including: movements to and from maintenance depots for the purpose of maintaining rolling stock; movements for driver training purposes; and empty stock movements.

  • For the purposes of paragraph 2.6, Ancillary Movements shall not include movements of rolling stock for the purpose of testing in furtherance of vehicle acceptance procedures.

Ancillary Movements means Train movements which are not part of a Train Path but which are necessary or reasonably required to use the Train Path, including for Stabling purposes and movement of empty Trains and light engines for operative or maintenance purposes to workshops, locomotive depots and fuel points.
