Anchor Store definition

Anchor Store means, generally, a major, large, well-known chain retailer that offers various goods and is a driver of business to smaller retailers in the area.
Anchor Store means any Tenant occupying 10,000 net rentable square feet or greater.
Anchor Store means any department or specialty store which either (i) occupies a floor area in excess of 50,000 square feet in the Shopping Center, or (ii) is designated an Anchor Store in a notice to that effect given by Landlord to Tenant.

  • It is agreed that, wherever the term “Shopping Center” is used herein, it shall be deemed to exclude the Anchor Store Sites (even if such Sites shall be within the hatched and/or shaded area shown on the site plan), except as otherwise specifically stated herein.

  • Contributors shall not be liable or bound in any manner by any oral or written statements, representations or information provided by any Tenant, any Anchor Store, Property Owner's Property Manager, any governmental authority or any of such parties' personnel, employees or contractors (including any on site building manager or building engineer).

  • Any executed REA Estoppel Certificate which alleges a material default by Property Owner under the Operating Agreement or facts which are materially inconsistent with the information set forth in the REA Estoppel Certificate delivered to such Anchor Store shall not, at CBL/OP's election, satisfy this closing condition.

  • To Property Owner's knowledge, the Operating Agreement is in full force and effect, and neither Property Owner (or the Company) nor any Anchor Store is in default or breach thereof.

  • The CID has been formed with boundaries that include the Redevelopment Project Areas excluding the Initial Anchor Store and has imposed the CID Sales Tax.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, if any replacement building on the Gasoline Sales Area is not operated as part of the business operations of a Large Anchor Store on the Costco Tract, such replacement out-building shall not be used for wholesale sales.

  • For purposes of this REA, the Parties agree that the use of a Large Anchor Store on the Costco Tract for wholesale sales shall be deemed to be for “retail sales” so long as any wholesale sales from such Large Anchor Store on the Costco Tract occurs only to the degree that the Large Anchor Store therein engage(s) in such wholesale sales at a majority of its other stores in Southern California.

  • Any executed Anchor Estoppel Certificate which alleges a material default by Property Owner or facts which are materially inconsistent with the information set forth in the Anchor Estoppel Certificate delivered to such Anchor Store shall not, at CBL/OP's election, satisfy this closing condition.

  • Property Owner shall not be liable or bound in any manner by any oral or written statements, representations or information provided by any Tenant, any Anchor Store, Property Owner's Property Manager, any governmental authority or any of such parties' personnel, employees or contractors (including any on site building manager or building engineer).

Anchor Store means commercial establishments including but not limited to antique shops, banks and financial institutions, bookstores, microbreweries, business offices, furniture/appliance stores, general stores (but not convenience stores), hardware stores, health clubs, pharmacies, and professional offices.
Anchor Store means a department store with National Recognition as defined herein, a minimum of 140,000 gross leasable square feet in size, two to three stories in height with at least two floors of retail area.
