Analog Front End definition

Analog Front End means the analog circuitry and other circuitry that receives a radio frequency signal for use in Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits and which is comprised of any or all of the following circuits: voltage rectifier, voltage regulator, voltage reference, power-on-reset, clock extraction, data modulator, and data demodulator, as more specifically described in Attachment A.
Analog Front End or "AFE" means the combination of mixed signal semiconductor and passive circuit functions required to convert Etherloop formatted digital information into an analog format appropriate for use in an Etherloop Product, excluding the driver/receiver.
