AMRH definition

AMRH means the African Medical Products Regulatory Harmonization Initiative established in 2009 following the adoption of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Plan for Africa (PMPA) at the 3rd Session of the African Union Conference of Ministers of Health, held in February 2007 in Johannesburg and the PMPA Business Plan endorsed by the Assembly of Heads of State in January 2012, to provide an enabling environment for facilitating access to good quality, safe and efficacious medical products, and health technologies; and governed by the AMRH Governance Framework dated December 2, 2022, as amended from time to time.
