AMOUNT REINSURED definition
AMOUNT REINSURED. OR "AMOUNT REINSURANCE" means the amount of reinsurance ceded by the Company to the Reinsurer under this Agreement on the life of an insured person. It is the amount of life insurance ceded for which the Reinsurer is at risk under this Agreement on the life of the insured person. The Amount Reinsured per insured life is calculated as set forth in Paragraph 1 of Article IV.
