Amortization Charges definition

Amortization Charges shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5.01(d).
Amortization Charges means the amounts properly allocated, whether directly or indirectly, and included in the calculation of Airline Rent, Fees and Charges to repay the Authority for costs incurred by the Authority for a Capital Project which are not otherwise being repaid in the calculation of Airline Rent, Fees and Charges as Annual Debt Service, or being repaid through Passenger Facility Charges (“PFCs”), or a federal, state, or local grant. The amount to be included in the calculation of Airline Rent, Fees and Charges for each Capital Project shall be in substantially equal annual installments of principal and interest for the term of the asset’s useful life as estimated by Authority, with interest calculated by Authority at a rate equal to the Thirty-Year Revenue Bond Index at the time the Capital Project is placed in service.

  • The FIS Facility Fee shall be equal to the sum of Operation and Maintenance Expenses, Debt Service, Debt Service Coverage, Debt Service Reserve Requirement, Operation and Maintenance Reserve, Non-amortized Capital Expenditures and Amortization Charges attributable to the FIS Facility divided by projected total international Deplaned Passengers using the FIS Facility during the Rate Setting Period.

More Definitions of Amortization Charges

Amortization Charges means the principal and interest cost on Capital Improvement Projects financed by ▇▇▇▇ from the General Account. Amortization Charges shall be calculated using (a) the Revenue Bond Index rate, as published in the Wall Street Journal as of the date the Capital Improvement is placed in service,
Amortization Charges means the recovery of capital costs and interest, in substantially equal annual installments over a fixed term, for that portion of a Capital Expenditure that is funded from the KCAB General Fund. The amortization charge for such Capital Expenditure shall commence in the first Fiscal Year following the date of Substantial Completion of the capital project for which the Capital Expenditure is made, and shall be computed using (i) the five- year United States Treasury rate as of the last Business Day of the midpoint of the Fiscal Year during which such Substantial Completion of the capital project occurs, and, and (ii) the economic life of such capital item determined in accordance with generally accepted accounting practices as the term for such amortization charges.
