Alternate Access definition

Alternate Access means the physical existence of other means to access a property than the proposed approach, such as an existing public right of way, another location on the subject state highway, an easement across adjoining property, a different highway, a service road, or an alley, including singularly or as a joint approach, but without a conclusive determination that the alternate access is “reasonable” as defined in section (51) of this rule.

It may include an existing public right of way, another location on the subject state highway, an easement across adjoining property, a different highway, a service road, a local road, or an alley, and may be in the form of a single or joint approach. The existence of alternate access is not a determination that the alternate access is "reasonable" as defined in ORS 374.310.¶
Alternate Access has the meaning ascribed to that term in section 7.11(b); “BCTFA Lands” means, collectively, the lands legally described as: PID ▇▇▇-▇▇▇-▇▇▇

Examples of Alternate Access in a sentence

  • The Contractor may submit to the Department a request for Alternate Access Standards.
