Alpha Phase definition

Alpha Phase means the alpha phase of this Contract as set out in the Digital Manual; Approval means the prior written consent of the Customer and “Approve” and "Approved" shall be construed accordingly; Auditor any auditor appointed by the Audit Commission; Authority means THE MINISTER FOR THE CABINET OFFICE as represented by Crown Commercial Service, a trading fund of the Cabinet Office, whose offices are located at 0xx Xxxxx, Xxx Xxxxxxx, Xxx Xxxx Xxxxxx, Xxxxxxxxx, X0 0XX; Authority’s T&S Policy means the rates and policies for travel and subsistence expenses as set by the Authority and as may be amended from time to time;
Alpha Phase. The Alpha Phase is the first stage of the Data Futures Pilot which shall be sub-divided into four phases: 1) Proof of concept prototypes of the submission and collection solution; 2) Assessment of data collection; 3) Assessment of data dissemination; 4) Assessment of data management portal; each defined as a "Phase". The detail for each Phase is set out in the Pilot Operational Documentation, including the timetable, data and process requirements of each Phase.

Examples of Alpha Phase in a sentence

  • Round 2 of the SIF, launched in May 2022, focuses on four new Innovation Challenges: supporting a just energy transition, preparing for a net zero power system, improving energy system resilience and robustness, and accelerating decarbonisation of major energy demands.2 The SIF adopts a three Project Phase approach within each round to mitigate the risk associated with innovation: Discovery Phase, Alpha Phase and Beta Phase.

  • Such reasonable feedback may include (but not be limited to): attending workshops or checkpoint teleconferences during the Alpha Phase, or participating in surveys and workshops, or attending webinars during the Beta Phase (as applicable to the Provider's HESA Pilot Participant Category).

  • The Discovery Phase focuses on feasibility, the Alpha Phase on experimental development, and the Beta Phase on deployment and demonstration.

  • All Projects which completed the Alpha Phase had the option of submitting an Application for the Beta Phase, merging with another SIF Project and submitting an Application, or not submitting an Application for the Beta Phase.

  • It should therefore be noted that 14 eligible Applications were received for the Beta Phase across the four Innovation Challenges, from the 18 Alpha Phase Projects.

System Protection Facilities: “System Protection Facilities” shall refer to the equipment required to protect (i) the Transmission System, other delivery systems and/or other generating systems connected to the Transmission System from faults or other electrical disturbance occurring at or on the Customer Facility, and (ii) the Customer Facility from faults or other electrical system disturbance occurring on the Transmission System or on other delivery systems and/or other generating systems to which the Transmission System is directly or indirectly connected. System Protection Facilities shall include such protective and regulating devices as are identified in the Applicable Technical Requirements and Standards or that are required by Applicable Laws and Regulations or other Applicable Standards, or as are otherwise necessary to protect personnel and equipment and to minimize deleterious effects to the Transmission System arising from the Customer Facility. Transmission Facilities:

  • Phase or “Phases” in respect of the Project shall mean that the components of the Project are placed in service during more than one year during the Investment Period, and the word “Phase” shall therefore refer to the applicable portion of the Project placed in service in a given year during the Investment Period.

  • Commissioning means the process for determining the need for and for obtaining the supply of healthcare and related services by the Trust within available resources.

  • Phase III Study means a human clinical trial that is prospectively designed to demonstrate statistically whether a product is safe and effective for use in humans in a manner sufficient to obtain regulatory approval to market such product in patients having the disease or condition being studied as described in 21 C.F.R. § 312.21(c) (FDCA), as amended from time to time, and the foreign equivalent thereof.
