Allowance Work definition

Allowance Work means work performed by the Design Build Entity and/or its Subcontractors (including Sub-subcontractors) as part of the scope of either a Judicial Council Allowance or Design Build Entity Allowance as defined in these General Conditions.
Allowance Work means work that may not have been in the specifications and is deemed by the City to be necessary.

  • The election of the Contractor’s performance of Allowance Work and the allocation of Contract Time for such Allowance Work shall be within the sole discretion of the County.

More Definitions of Allowance Work

Allowance Work means Work performed in connection with the Allowances, as set forth in the First Amendment.
Allowance Work. All the work to be done at Landlord's expense in the Premises pursuant to the provisions of the Work Letter Agreement described in Paragraph 2 below.

Related to Allowance Work

  • piece-work means any work the pay for which is estimated by the amount of work performed irrespective of the time occupied in its performance;

  • Maintenance work means the repair of existing facilities when the size, type or extent of such facilities is not thereby changed or increased. While “maintenance” includes painting and decorating and is covered under the law, it does not include work such as routine landscape maintenance or janitorial services.

  • demolition work means a method to dismantle, wreck, break, pull down or knock down of a structure or part thereof by way of manual labour, machinery, or the use of explosives;

  • Tenant Improvement Allowance in the maximum amount of $200.00 per rentable square foot in the Premises, which is included in the Base Rent set forth in the Lease; and

  • drainage work means any construction or reconstruction of or any alteration or addition to, or any work done in connection with a drainage installation but shall not include any work undertaken solely for purposes of repair or maintenance;

  • Unit Price Work means the Work, or a portion of the Work, paid for based on incremental units of measurement.

  • Collective Work means a work, such as a periodical issue, anthology or encyclopedia, in which the Work in its entirety in unmodified form, along with a number of other contributions, constituting separate and independent works in themselves, are assembled into a collective whole. A work that constitutes a Collective Work will not be considered a Derivative Work (as defined below) for the purposes of this License.

  • NOx Allowance means an authorization to emit a specified amount of NOx that is allocated or issued under an emissions trading or marketable permit program of any kind that has been established under the Clean Air Act or a state implementation plan.

  • Building Work has the meaning given to it in section 6 of the Building and Construction Industry (Improving Productivity) Act 2016 (Cth);

Consultant shall not perform, nor be compensated for, Extra Work without written authorization from City’s Representative.

  • Excavation work means the making of any man-made cavity, trench, pit or depression formed by cutting, digging or scooping;

  • Shift Work is defined as the same work performed by two or more employees or two or more successive sets or groups of employees working successive periods.
