Allocation Duty definition

Allocation Duty means the Allocation Duty set by the Regional District. Normally this is at the rate of 5,500 cubic metres per hectare per year of Allocation. The Allocation Duty may be adjusted from time to time as allowed by other Regional District bylaws, or in the absence of a bylaw, by a motion of the Regional District Board. When there is a change in the Allocation Duty the Regional District shall send by regular mail a written notice of the change in the Allocation Duty to all owners of property with allocations over 0.4 hectares and property with allocations of 0.4 hectares and less having BC Assessment Farm classification.
