All-Electric Range definition

All-Electric Range. (AER) means the total distance travelled by an OVC-HEV from the beginning of the charge-depleting test to the point in time during the test when the combustion engine starts to consume fuel.
All-Electric Range means the number of miles a vehicle can travel using electricity stored on-board the vehicle as tested per the requirements of 17 CCR section 95663(d) for on-road vehicles with a GVWR over 8,500 lbs.
All-Electric Range means the total miles driven electrically (with the engine off) before the engine turns on for the first time, after the battery has been fully charged.

More Definitions of All-Electric Range

All-Electric Range. (AER) means in the case of an off-vehicle charging hybrid electric vehicle (OVC-HEV) the total distance travelled from the beginning of the charge-depleting test to the point in time during the test when the combustion engine starts to consume fuel.
All-Electric Range. (AER) means in the case of a pure electric vehicle (PEV) the total distance travelled from the beginning of the charge-depleting test until the break-off criterion is reached.
All-Electric Range means the same as the all-electric range defined and tested per the requirements of 17 CCR section 95663(d) for vehicles with a GVWR over 8,500 lbs.
All-Electric Range or “AER” means the total miles driven electrically (with the engine off) before the engine turns on for the first time, after the battery has been fully charged. The AER is defined in terms of the Urban All-Electric Range (AERu) and the Highway All-Electric Range (AERh).
All-Electric Range or “AER” means the total miles driven electrically (with the engine off) before the engine turns on for the first time, after the battery has been fully charged, determined pursuant to the applicable requirements identified in Attachment A.
