Aliphatic definition

Aliphatic means a saturated or unsaturated linear or branched hydrocarbon group. An aliphatic group may be an alkyl, alkenyl, or alkynyl group, for example.
Aliphatic means a radical derived from a non aromatic C-H bond by removal of the hydrogen atom. The aliphatic radical may be further substituted by additional aliphatic or aromatic radicals as defined herein.
