Alignable definition

Alignable. Beneficiary‌ To be aligned, a Beneficiary necessarily must have at least one paid claim for a QEM service during the 2-year alignment period. Consequently, the Beneficiaries who are alignable for the base year or the Performance Year, prior to the application of the requirements for alignment- eligibility outlined in Section 1.2.4 of this Appendix B, include all Beneficiaries who have at least one QEM service (as defined in Section 4.2.4 of this Appendix B) that was paid by fee-for- service Medicare during the 2-year alignment period. These Beneficiaries may be referred to as “Alignable” Beneficiaries. A Beneficiary need not meet the criteria to be an Alignment-Eligible Beneficiary during either of the two Alignment Years in order to be an Alignable Beneficiary.

  • Dependent means a spouse, a party to a civil union established according to Vermont law, and a child or children (natural, stepchild, legally adopted or a minor or disabled child who is dependent on the insured for support and maintenance) who is born to or brought to a marriage or to a civil union established according to Vermont law.

  • Continuous Improvement Plan means a plan for improving the provision of the Services and/or reducing the Charges produced by the Supplier pursuant to Framework Schedule 12 (Continuous Improvement and Benchmarking);

  • Sub-consultants means an entity to whom/which the Consultant subcontracts any part of the Services while remaining solely liable for the execution of the Contract.
