Aircraft Operating Area definition

Aircraft Operating Area means that surface of an Airport normally reserved for the use of aircraft for ground operation; i.e. the runway, taxiways, infields, overrun areas, and Airport clear zones.
Aircraft Operating Area means any area of the Airport used or intended to be used for Landing, takeoff, or the surface maneuvering of aircraft. The AOA includes, but is not necessarily limited to runways, taxiways, taxi-lanes, safety areas, aprons, ramps, and any other aircraft parking areas.
Aircraft Operating Area means that area of the airport regularly used in the movement of aircraft. It includes all paved areas and tie down areas except the automobile parking lot.

  • Personnel that are currently receiving the Aircraft Operating Area Proficiency Allowance (AOA) pay shall not be eligible to receive the Service Excellence supplement.

  • For the purposes of this AGREEMENT, the following terms shall be defined as: Aircraft Operating Area – Shall mean any area of the Airport used, or intended to be used for landing, takeoff and the surface maneuvering of aircraft.

  • The holder of this Permit is granted a nonexclusive privilege under authority granted to MDAD under Chapter 25 of the Code of Miami-Dade County to enter onto the Aircraft Operating Area ("AOA") to provide any of the following checked operations to the customer(s) identified below at the following Airport(s): [ ] Sell, deliver and/or dispense aircraft fuel product and lubricating oil for use in non-commercial aircraft and general aviation aircraft.

  • The City Code Book, Chapter 5, prohibiting uncontrolled traffic on the Aircraft Operating Area (AOA) shall be observed in all other portions of the AOA.
