Affordability Threshold definition

Affordability Threshold means the amount referred to in Section 3.1.2 of Volume 1 of this RFP.
Affordability Threshold means the level, point, or value that delineates if a water system’s residential customer charges, designed to ensure the water systems can provide drinking water that meets State and Federal standards, are unaffordable. For the purposes of the 2021 Affordability Assessment, the State Water Board employed affordability thresholds for the following indicators: Percent Median Household Income; Extreme Water Bill; and Percent Shut-Offs. Affordability Threshold means a maximum level for rates and fees charged by water systems to supply, treat and distribute potable water that complies with federal and state drinking water standards to disadvantaged communities. The affordability threshold will be established by the State Water Board in the fund expenditure plan.

Examples of Affordability Threshold in a sentence

  • Housing unit that is available for a price equal to or below the Affordability Threshold.

  • Monthly Assistance or Monthly Assistance with Reinstatement borrowers, IHCDA may provide up to the borrowers’ Maximum Household Assistance for a period of either: (i) 24 months or (ii) 3 months after an increase in household income that results in the borrower exceeding the Minimum Affordability Threshold, whichever comes first.

  • Affordability average means the average percentage of median income at which restricted units in an affordable housing development are affordable to low- and moderate-income households.

  • Affordability means a housing unit that satisfies at least one of the following criteria:

  • Affordability Period means the period during which the average rent in a Project is required to be maintained at an affordable level, as determined in accordance with the Program Guidelines or as otherwise established by the County;

  • Threshold means, with respect to Party B and any Valuation Date, infinity.

  • Period of Affordability means the time during which HOME Loan financed units must remain affordable to eligible households, as defined by HOME program regulations and this Plan. The Period of Affordability shall commence upon completion of the project and shall run for the period required under HOME regulations or the term of the HOME Loan, whichever is greater. Completion shall be defined as set forth in the HUD regulations for the HOME program.
