In accordance with Article XX-C of the Public School Code of 1949, this Agreement ensures that a student who successfully completes an Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Science (AS) or an Associate of Fine Arts (AFA) degree at a participating institution can transfer the full degree into a parallel degree program in Art at another participating college or university.
Full junior-standing will be granted to students who have successfully completed an AA, AS or AFA degree that contains a minimum of 60 credits provided that: • The associate’s degree includes 12 credits of major-specific coursework as outlined under Major Requirements in this Agreement.
NOVA students who graduate with an Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Science (AS) or Associate of Fine Arts (AFA) degree and have a NOVA cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 are guaranteed admission to UMW (see GAA attached for conditions).

STLCC students completing an AFA degree that includes a CBHE approved general education core will be allowed transfer credit of more than 72 hours only if the additional lower division credits are applicable to the baccalaureate degree or are prerequisites for upper division courses.
Students will receive transfer credit for art and art history courses taken at RCCC according to the Degree Plans (attached) only by completing the AFA degree at RCCC.
Upon admission to a Signatory Institution of the ICAA, a community college student who was enrolled in an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) or Associate in Fine Arts (AFA) degree program and who satisfactorily completed the courses with a grade of "C" or better in all courses that are designated for college transfer (see Appendix E, Transfer Course List) will receive credit for those courses.
Students must attain an AFA degree from RCCC and may transfer a maximum of (64) semester credit hours from RCCC.
ARCC students who successfully complete the A.F.A. degree named above and wishing to transfer to the University of Wisconsin-Superior will be awarded the following credits toward a B.A. Degree in Writing.
RCC students who graduate with an Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Science (AS), or Associate of Fine Arts (AFA) degree and have the requisite RCC cumulative GPA are guaranteed admission to UMW (see the GAA for conditions).
