AECS definition

AECS. (Accident Emergency Call System) means an AECD not approved to Part Ib of this Regulation, when installed in a vehicle.
AECS means an emission control strategy that is activated and temporarily modifies a base emission control strategy (BECS) for a specific purpose and in response to a specific set of ambient and/or operating conditions and only remains in operation as long as those conditions exist;
AECS shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in Section ---- 5.20(m).

Examples of AECS in a sentence

  • The applicant shall provide the relevant information about the PLMN and GNSS receiver to which the AECS is intended.

  • The “Remaining Credit Support Amount” is equal to the Credit Support Amount less the AECS.

  • The AECS will only apply after the Contracting Retailer has signed an agreement pertaining to the AECS with us and subject to the terms of that agreement (the “AECS Agreement”).

  • AECS compliance with respect to positioning capabilities shall be demonstrated by performing test methods described in Annex 10: Test methods for the navigation module.

  • BPSS means the recognised standard for HMG for staff vetting which comprises verification of (1) identity, (2) employment history, (3) nationality and immigration status (including the right to work), and Criminal Records Bureau check (including a five (5) year address history check).
