More Definitions of Advising

Advising means to provide the advisor’s counterparts with expert opinions, advice, or counsel to assist them in making a decision based on applying knowledge and through a mutually developed bond of trust. The distinctive feature is that the recipient is responsible for making the decision while the advisor provides only advice.
Advising means communicating advice or guidance for high-level, executive decision-making with respect to matters that visual effects, animation, and game development studios commonly address and shall exclude actual execution or performance of the advice or guidance, or direct supervision of Company’s employees executing on the advice or guidance, unless Consultant agrees to do so. Consultant may perform the Services via telephone or other forms of oral or written remote communication. Consultant shall perform the Services only upon Company's request, provided that Consultant may decline a request to provide Services by the Company if Consultant reasonably believes that the performance of the Services would conflict with Consultant’s obligations or relationships in the industry. The performance of the Services shall require not more than an aggregate of 500 hours per month of time provided by Consultant’s employees.

  • Advise means the act of sending an Advice from Broker.

This definition includes but is not limited to the following: partner, officer, Manager, investment person, Portfolio Manager and any other Supervised Person of the Firm designated as an “Advisory Representative” from time to time by the Review Officer.

  • Advice shall have the meaning set forth in Section 6(d).

  • Inquiries As defined in Section 4.02(a) of this Agreement.

  • Counseling means one or more consultations as necessary between a state licensed psychiatrist or psychologist and a patient for the purpose of determining that the patient is competent and not suffering from a psychiatric or psychological disorder or depression causing impaired judgment.

  • Responsible means an entity that demonstrates their ability to perform satisfactorily under a Contract by meeting the applicable standards of responsibility outlined in OAR 580-061-0130.

  • Investor Relations Activities means any activities, by or on behalf of the Company or a shareholder of the Company, that promote or reasonably could be expected to promote the purchase or sale of securities of the Company, but does not include:

  • Adviser/Subadviser means the Adviser or a Subadviser, if any, of the Fund or both as the context may require.

  • Lead Agency means the agency facilitating the procurement and establishing the Contract.

  • Background investigation means the investigation conducted by a licensee or applicant to support the determination of trustworthiness and reliability.

  • Counselor means an educator who provides full-time counseling and guidance services and holds the relevant certificate from SBEC.

  • Independent Adviser means an independent financial institution of international repute or other independent financial adviser experienced in the international debt capital markets, in each case appointed by the Issuer at its own expense;

  • Associated Persons means the directors, employees (whether full-time, part-time or casual), Related Bodies Corporate, agents, contractors, advisors and owners of Tabcorp and the Venue Operator, respectively, (as is applicable).

  • Key Managerial Person means person as defined in Section 2(51) of the Companies Act, 2013

  • Supportive housing means housing with no limit on length of stay, that is occupied by the target population, and that is linked to an onsite or offsite service that assists the supportive housing resident in retaining the housing, improving his or her health status, and maximizing his or her ability to live and, when possible, work in the community.

  • Counsel means a barrister and/or solicitor or a firm of barristers and/or solicitors retained by the Warrant Agent or retained by the Corporation, which may or may not be counsel for the Corporation;

  • Business Relationship Strength for the purpose of this RFP shall mean the definition and commitment of the respondent towards a mutually successful “relationship” between the selected contractor and HCC for the duration of the contract. Respondent’s Statement of Qualification must include their definition, proposal and commitment to forge, foster and maintain a mutually successful “relationship” with HCC.
