Advanced Development definition

Advanced Development means, with respect to any proposed Product and the indication of use for such Product, that a Phase III Clinical Trial or any later stage of clinical trial is initiated (i.e., dosing of the first patient in such clinical trial) with respect to such Product for such indication.
Advanced Development means, with respect to a proposed Product, that such proposed Product is in either a pivotal clinical trial or later stage of development.
Advanced Development means projects in advance stage of analysis, in respect of which there is at least a 50% chance of obtaining the right to use the land and at least a 90% chance of obtaining an access and connection point. This category also includes projects being developed by third parties in the Backlog phase that will be acquired and in respect of which a memorandum of understanding has been executed or a process of due diligence has been initiated.

Advanced Development. STAGE shall mean, with respect to each party and each CANDIDATE resulting from a PROJECT, the stage of development which (i) begins with the determination by the STEERING COMMITTEE to commence PHASE III TRIALS involving such CANDIDATE (it being understood that such determination shall be made following completion of phase IIa clinical trials) and (ii) ends on the earlier of the date of the termination by the applicable party of the development activities with respect to such CANDIDATE or the receipt by such applicable party of final approval from at least one regulatory authority that allows marketing of such CANDIDATE to begin.

  • Planned development means a real property development other than a community apartment project, a condominium project, or a stock cooperative, having either or both of the following features:

  • Transit-oriented development means infrastructure improvements that are located within 1/2 mile of a transit station or transit-oriented facility that promotes transit ridership or passenger rail use as determined by the board and approved by the municipality in which it is located.

Research and development does not include the internal or external administration of radiation or radioactive material to human beings.

  • Economic development means all powers expressly granted and reasonably inferred pursuant to SDCL § 9-54.

  • Land development means the erection of buildings or structures on land, or the change of use of land, including township establishment, the subdivision or consolidation of land or any deviation from the land use or uses permitted in terms of an applicable land use scheme;

  • land development area means an erf or the land which is delineated in an application submitted in terms of this By-law or any other legislation governing the change in land use and “land area” has a similar meaning;

  • Commercial Development means any development on private land that is not heavy industrial or residential. The category includes, but is not limited to: hospitals, laboratories and other medical facilities, educational institutions, recreational facilities, plant nurseries, car wash facilities, mini-malls and other business complexes, shopping malls, hotels, office buildings, public warehouses and other light industrial complexes.

For the purpose of calculating a density bonus, the residential units shall be on contiguous sites that are the subject of one development application, but do not have to be based upon individual subdivision maps or parcels. The density bonus shall be permitted in geographic areas of the housing development other than the areas where the units for the lower income households are located.

  • Michigan economic development corporation means the public body corporate created under section 28 of article VII of the state constitution of 1963 and the urban cooperation act of 1967, 1967 (Ex Sess) PA 7, MCL 124.501 to 124.512, by a contractual interlocal agreement effective April 5, 1999 between local participating economic development corporations formed under the economic development corporations act, 1974 PA 338, MCL 125.1601 to 125.1636, and the Michigan strategic fund. If it is determined that the Michigan economic development corporation is unable to perform its duties under this act, those duties shall be exercised by the Michigan strategic fund.

  • Economic development project means land and existing or planned improvements suitable for use by an industrial or commercial enterprise, or housing development, or the protection of the environment, including, but not limited to, groundwater or surface water. Economic development project includes necessary buildings, improvements, or structures suitable for and intended for or incidental to use as an industrial or commercial enterprise or housing development; and includes industrial park or industrial site improvements and port improvements or housing development incidental to an industrial or commercial enterprise; and includes the machinery, furnishings, and equipment necessary, suitable, intended for, or incidental to a commercial, industrial, or residential use in connection with the buildings or structures.
