ADVANCED DEPENDENT PRACTITIONER definition
ADVANCED DEPENDENT PRACTITIONER means an allied health professional who provides a medical level of care or performs surgical tasks (i.e., advanced practitioner registered nurse, physician assistant), consistent with the clinical privileges granted, but is permitted by law and the Hospital to exercise those clinical privileges only under the direction of, or in collaboration with, a Supervising Practitioner pursuant to a written supervision agreement.
