Adopted Highway means Highway Maintainable at the Public Expense
Adopted Highway means the road or pavement where the Client is responsible for maintenance.

  • In circumstances where works that are undertaken by a developer are to be adopted by the Council and/ or where works are undertaken by a developer to an area of Adopted Highway, they will need to be constructed to the Council’s Highway Specifications as specified in the Highways Agreement pursuant to which the works are being carried out.
