Admixture definition

Admixture means chemicals added to earth materials to change the physical or chemical properties of the earth materials. Admixtures include, but are not limited to: lime, cement, bentonite and sodium silicate.
Admixture means two or more materials mixed together to be used as a liner. Admixtures include asphalt concrete, portland cement concrete and mixtures of soil and portland cement or bentonite.
