ADMITTING PRACTITIONER definition

ADMITTING PRACTITIONER means a Practitioner who, within the scope of his or her clinical privileges (e.g., a physician, podiatrist, or dentist, but generally not an APP), orders the admission of a given patient to the Hospital and who has the responsibilities outlined in the Medical Staff Rules and Regulations.
