Administrative Assignment definition

Administrative Assignment means a bargaining unit member who is assigned to a position other than a 24-hour shift. Administrative Assignment shifts are assigned to a 40-hour workweek. Such assignments include but are not limited to: the Special Operations Lieutenant; Training Division Lieutenant and Captain; the EMS Division Firefighter, Lieutenant, and Captain; or other position(s), independent of whether or not the position is temporary or permanent.
Administrative Assignment means the process of classifying or assigning inmates by administrative action and supervisory review without case management team action.

Examples of Administrative Assignment in a sentence

  • Administrative assignments or projects will be paid as an Administrative Assignment Supervisor as listed in Appendix A, Rates of Pay.

  • Should no qualified Supervisors apply for an Administrative Assignment, or the extension of an existing project is needed, the LMC has authority to waive this Article if necessary.

  • Employees working an Administrative Assignment may request and be granted forty (40) hours off without loss of pay.

  • It is also agreed that employees on a modified duty assignment, or temporary Administrative Assignment, shall not have their sick leave accrual rates adjusted until such time the employee is in that assignment for six (6) months.

  • If a unit employee on Administrative Assignment IOD status and who is in-patient hospitalized when any mandatory holiday occurs, they shall not be deducted any of the holiday time which occurred when they were in-patient hospitalized.

  • Unit employees on Administrative Assignment shall be entitled to the 42-hour holiday leave payoff benefit providing such holiday leave exists except for unit employees on IOD “4850” work comp time.

  • An Administrative Assignment shall mean the regional campus to which a full-time Faculty member is regularly assigned for purposes of maintaining office hours, receiving mail, reporting his absences, and other administrative functions.

  • Administrative Assignment Transfers shall be granted when the full-time Faculty member requests the transfer in writing to the appropriate Academic Administrator.

  • When an employee is transferred from a platoon schedule to an Administrative Assignment (non-platoon schedule), there will be a minimum of forty-eight (48) hours off between the last shift assigned on the old platoon schedule and the first day assigned on the new Administrative Assignment.

  • In the 2023–24 School Year the Professional Forum will discuss and make input to a draft Administrative Assignment on the right to appeal an unreasonable assignment for the approval of the superintendent.
