Adequate means that which is needed to accomplish the intended purpose in keeping with good public health practice.
Harm means ill-treatment or the impairment of health or development, including for example, impairment suffered from seeing or hearing the ill-treatment of another;
Cost means all expenditure properly incurred (or to be incurred) by the Contractor, whether on or off the Site, including overheads and similar charges but does not include any allowance for profit.
Uninsured motor vehicle" means a land motor vehicle or trailer of any type:
Risk means the combination of the probability of occurrence of harm and the severity of that harm;
Coefficient means a number that represents the quantified relationship of each variable to the assessed value of a property when derived through a mass appraisal process
Complicit means taking actions during any preceding 20-month period which have directly supported or promoted the genocidal campaign in Darfur, including, but not limited to, preventing Darfur's victimized population from communicating with each other, encouraging Sudanese citizens to speak out against an internationally approved security force for Darfur, actively working to deny, cover up, or alter the record on human rights abuses in Darfur, or other similar actions.
Quantifiable means, in the context of offset projects, the ability to accurately measure and calculate GHG reductions or GHG removal enhancements relative to a project baseline in a reliable and replicable manner for all GHG emission sources, GHG sinks, or GHG reservoirs included within the offset project boundary, while accounting for uncertainty and activity-shifting leakage and market-shifting leakage.
Historical cost means the actual cost incurred in acquiring and preparing a fixed asset for use. Historical cost includes such planning costs as feasibility studies, architects' fees, and engineering studies. Historical cost does not include "start-up costs" as defined in this rule.
NOT means Notice of Termination.
Damages means any loss, claim, damage, liability, costs and expenses (including, without limitation, reasonable attorney's fees and disbursements and costs and expenses of expert witnesses and investigation).
Damage means actual and/or physical damage to tangible property;
Sound means an oscillation in pressure, particle displacement, particle velocity or other physical parameter, in a medium with internal forces that cause compression and rarefaction of that medium. The description of sound may include any characteristic of such sound, including duration, intensity and frequency.
Protect means taking measures to safeguard personally identifiable information and prevent its breach that are functionally equivalent to those called for in that OMB memorandum and elaborated on in the [federal] General Services Administration (GSA) Directive CIO P 2180.1 GSA Rules of Behavior for Handling Personally Identifiable Information.
Insured means the Executive.
Runoff coefficient means the fraction of total rainfall that will appear at the conveyance as runoff.
Financially Literate means the ability to read and understand a set of financial statements that present a breadth and level of complexity of accounting issues that are generally comparable to the breadth and complexity of the issues that can reasonably be expected to be raised by the Corporation’s financial statements.
Identifiable includes that the expenditures are recorded in the IP’s accounting system and that the accounting system shows which transactions represent the expenditures reported for each line on the FACE form. The term “verifiable” includes that the expenditures may be confirmed by the records in Article IX.)
Safeguard means any procedures, practices, or actions with respect to the Project, a Site or Work for the purpose of preventing, mitigating, or containing foreseeable accidents, injuries, damage, release of hazardous material or environmental harm.
danger means any hazard or condition that could reasonably be expected to cause injury or illness to an employee or other persons exposed thereto before the hazard or condition can be corrected.
Can means any cylindrical single-walled container, with or without a top, cover, spout, or handle, that is manufactured from metal sheets thinner than 29 gauge (0.0141 in.) and into which solid or liquid materials may be packaged.
Ascertainable standard means a standard relating to an individual's health, education, support, or maintenance within the meaning of section 2041(b)(1)(A) or 2514(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Diversity Score means, as of any day, a single number that indicates collateral concentration in terms of both issuer and industry concentration, calculated as set forth in Schedule 7 hereto, as such Diversity Scores shall be updated at the option of the Administrative Agent in its sole discretion if Xxxxx’x publishes revised criteria.
Substantiated means an abuse investigation has been completed by the Department or the Department's designee and the preponderance of the evidence establishes the abuse occurred.
Risks means any risk associated, either directly or indirectly, with Participant's presence at and/or participation in any Activities;
Recovered material means waste materials and by-products recovered or diverted from solid waste, but the term does not include those materials and by-products generated from, and commonly reused within, an original manufacturing process.
