Adequate access definition

Adequate access means pursuant to 42 CFR 1396a(8) all individuals wishing to make ap- plication for medical assistance under the Medicaid Program shall have an opportunity to do so, and that assistance shall be furnished with reasonable promptness to all eligible individuals.
Adequate access for routine servicing means the provision of sufficient space for a service technician, irrespective of working age, to reach all items requiring routine service safely and without undue stress.
Adequate access means unobstructed tank ports with a minimum of a twenty inch (20”) inside diameter.
