Adequacy Certification definition

Adequacy Certification means a jurisdiction, data transmission mechanism (such as the Standard Contractual Clauses) or data protection certification (such as the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield) which is compliant with Data Protection Laws and Regulations for the onward transfer of Personal Data from the European Union, the European Economic Area and their member states, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
