Addressing Service definition
Addressing Service means a service provided by HKICL as part of HKICL FPS to facilitate customers of Participants to use predefined Proxy ID instead of account number to identify the destination of a payment or funds transfer instruction and other communications for the purpose of HKICL FPS.
Addressing Service means an overlay service of FPS which involves maintaining and operating a centralised addressing repository to facilitate Participants and their customers to address the recipient of a Credit Transfer Instruction or Direct Debit Instruction and other communications made in accordance with the FPS Rules and the FPS Operating Procedures using a predefined Proxy ID instead of using the account number.
Addressing Service. 「帳戶綁定服務」 means a service provided by HKICL as part of HKICL FPS to facilitate customers of Participants to use predefined Proxy ID instead of account number to identify the destination of a payment or funds transfer instruction and other communications for the purpose of HKICL FPS.指由結算公司提供作為結算公司快速支付系統一部份的服務，讓參與者的客戶使用預設的識別代號（ 而非帳戶號碼） 識別一項付款或資金轉帳指示的接收地，或其他有關結算公司快速支付系統的通訊的接收地。 “Default Account”「預設帳戶」 means the account maintained by the Client with the Bank or any other Participant and set as the default account for receiving payment or funds using HKICL FPS or (if and to the extent specified or permitted by the rules, guidelines and procedures of HKICL) for debiting payment or funds using HKICL FPS.指客戶於銀行或任何其他參與者維持的帳戶，並設置該帳戶

If an account is terminated as the Default Account by the Customer or by the relevant Participant for any reason (including suspension or termination of the account), the system of HKICL will automatically assign the most recently registered record in the Addressing Service that is associated with the same Proxy ID to be the Default Account.
Any Proxy ID to be registered by the Customer for the Addressing Service must satisfy any applicable requirements imposed by HKICL from time to time.
The Bank provides the FPS Services to customers to facilitate payment and funds transfer using the Faster Payment System and the Addressing Service, eDDA Service and any other services and facilities provided by HKICL in connection with the Faster Payment System from time to time.

"Bank Services" means the services provided by the Bank to customers from time to time to facilitate payments and funds transfers using AMCM FPS, any other services and facilities provided by AMCM in connection withthe Faster Payment System from time to time. “Default Account” means the account maintained by the customer with the Bank or any other Participant set as the default account for receiving payment or funds using AMCM FPS or (if to the extend specified or permitted by the rules, guidelines and procedures of AMCM) for debiting paymentor funds using AMCM FPS. "FPS Identifier” means a unique random number generated by AMCM FPS to beassociated with the account of a customer of a Participant. "AMCM" means Monetary Authority of Macao and its successors and assigns.
Addressing Service means a service provided by HKICL to enable customers of Participants to use a predefined Proxy ID instead of an account number to identify the destination of a payment or funds transfer instruction and other communications for the purpose of HKICL FPS;"Applicable Laws and Regulations" means: (i) any local or foreign law, ordinance, regulation, demand, guidance, guidelines, rules, codes of practice, whether or not relating to an intergovernmental agreement between the governments or regulatory authorities of two or more jurisdictions; and (ii) any agreement between the Bank (or that of any other member of the Group, as the case may be) and any government or taxation authority in any jurisdiction;
