ActRIIA definition

ActRIIA means (a) any fusion protein containing at least [* * *] consecutive amino acids from the extracellular portion of human ActRIIA or a mammalian ortholog thereof, linked to an Fc region of an immunoglobulin, (b) any dimers or multimers of (a), and (c) any nucleic acid encoding a protein of (a) or (b). For clarity, and without limiting the foregoing, the term “ActRIIA” specifically includes the fusion protein identified as ACE-011 and the protein having the sequence of [* * *].

  • HIV means human immunodeficiency virus.
