Activity Students definition

Activity Students means a member of any middle school or high school Amber-Pocasset Public School District sponsored extra-curricular organization that participates in interscholastic competition. This includes any student who represents Amber-Pocasset Schools in the following extra-curricular activities in interscholastic competition, including FFA, FCCLA, Academic Bowl Team, Cheerleaders, and Athletics.
Activity Students means a member of any school-sponsored extra-curricular activity in grades 7-12. "School-sponsored extra-curricular activity" means, without limitation, all clubs, musical performances, dramatic productions, student government, and any other activity or group that participates in contests, competitions, or community service projects on behalf of or as a representative of the school.

  • Conduct on School Grounds or at a School-Sponsored Activity: Students may be disciplined for conduct on school grounds or at any school-sponsored activity that endangers persons or property, is seriously disruptive of the educational process, or that violates a publicized policy of the Board.

  • Transcript Recognition of Teaching and Research Activity Students holding Graduate Teaching or Graduate Research Assistantships may register for courses in recognition of teaching (8997) and research (8998) activities if these courses are available for their school.

  • Activity Students carry a responsibility to themselves, their fellow students, their parents, and their school to set the highest possible examples of conduct, which includes avoiding the use or possession of illegal drugs.

  • Drug use testing for Activity Students will also be chosen on a random selection basis monthly from a list of all Activity Students who are involved in off-season or in-season activities.

  • Criminal Activity: Students shall not engage in any activity not specifically cited in this section that is considered illegal under applicable laws or regulations of the state of Ohio, or under applicable Federal Statutes.

  • Off-Campus Criminal Activity Students visiting off campus student organizations or other gathering places should promptly report all crimes to the local police department or county sheriff’s office.

  • Outdoor Physical Activity: Students who do not have a hat and water bottle will forfeit participating in physical activity and will be provided with alternative work.

  • ACT (Activity): Students develop technical or creative skills such as painting, music, drama, or design2.

  • All Activity Students will be required to provide a urine sample before the student may participate in an extra-curricular activity covered under this policy.

  • Research Program has the meaning set forth in Section 2.1.

  • Extracurricular activity means any optional, noncredit, educational or

  • Research facility means buildings and structures, including machinery and equipment, used or to be used primarily for research or experimentation to improve or develop new tangible goods or materials or to improve or develop the production processes thereto.

  • Participating student means a student who has been determined to be

  • Commercialization or “Commercialize” means activities directed to marketing, promoting, research and development as required, manufacturing for sale, offering for sale, distributing, importing or selling a product, including sub-licensing or sub-contracting of these activities.
